Online Old High German Tutors

Old High German is the earliest form of the German language, in use from about 700 AD to 1050 AD. Texts written in Old High German can be classed into a number of different dialects. Most extant texts are religious in nature and were produced in German monasteries. Because most scribes who wrote in Old High German mostly wrote in Latin, the language of the texts tends to be highly influenced by Ecclesiastical Latin. Our Online Old High German Tutors have a working knowledge to graduate-level experience in the language. Scroll down this page to see all of Carmenta's Old High German Tutor options.
